NSC Flexible Standard Coupling

NSC Flexible Standard couplings are supplied complete with a “shear band” and are used to connect pipe sizes up to 580mm maximum outside diameter where resistance to shear loads is required. These are used to connect pipes of different materials, construction and size and can be used with Salt glazed Ware, Vitrified Clay, Densleeve, Supersleve, Concrete, Cement, Pitch Fibre, Ultra-Rib, Ductile Iron and PVC-U pipe.

Typical Applications include the repair and maintenance of existing pipelines, connecting pipes of different materials and sizes, connecting junctions into existing pipelines, reconnecting laterals onto renovated sewers and introducing rocker or hinge pipes outside manholes or structures.

NSC290 – 225mm Salt Glazed Ware (9″), Vitrified Clay, Densleeve, Supersleve, Concrete (OD up to 290), 250mm Cement and 250mm Ductile Iron Pipe
NSC385 – 300mm Salt Glazed Ware (12″), Vitrified Clay, Densleeve, Supersleve, Concrete (OD up to 385) Pipe
